Mark F. Huang Senior Vice President
Mark is a Senior Vice President at GE Energy Financial Services. He is primarily focused on clean technology venture investments in the energy, transportation and water sectors. Mark’s cleantech venture investments include Silicon Energy, Catalytic Solutions, Ocean Power Deliver and A123 Systems. Prior to this effort, Mark had worked with GE Equity and GE Technology
Lending in making energy technology venture investments. Mark was
also integrated with the GE Energy Business Development team to develop
GE’s entrance strategy into the photovoltaic sector. Other
corporate strategy work includes participating on the GE team that is
reviewing the hybrid electric transportation market. Mark Mark was mobilized in 2003 as an officer in the US Army Reserves to serve in Iraq. He served 11 months in Baghdad as a civil affairs officer as well as with the Coalition Provisional Authority. He led missions that included basic nation building to developing programs to restructure Iraq's state-owned-enterprise sector. Mark earned a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Webb Institute and a MBA and a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University in New York City.
