P. Lyons
Jim Lyons is Chief Engineer – Electronics and Energy Conversion
at GE’s Global Research Center with responsibilities for product
applications across all GE businesses. He’s been a principal
champion of renewable energy within GE and technology leader of GE’s
2002 entry into the wind energy business, now GE’s largest power
generation business. Jim’s currently leading new GE business/technology
initiatives on waste gasification, plug-in hybrid vehicles, and rural
electrification.
Jim has a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, MSEE from Virginia
Polytechnic Institute, and PhD from Cornell University. |
