Jeremy Martin
Jeremy is a frequent commentator on Latin American and energy issues speaking at international conferences and appearing in both print and broadcast media. He recently did several interviews on NPR in Los Angeles and San Diego commenting on President Bush's visit to Latin America. He has also published several of his own essays and articles in the San Diego Union-Tribune, The National Journal's Hotline, Energy Central, Latin Business Chronicle, Innovation Mexico, and other on-line and print media sources. Jeremy has worked for several years in international economic development with an emphasis on Latin America. Prior to joining the Institute of the Americas, Jeremy spent four years as a Latin American Country Manager at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA) where he focused on infrastructure projects and trade in Latin America. Before his work at TDA, Jeremy worked for two years at Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI) on economic development projects in Latin America. Jeremy has an undergraduate degree from The Citadel and a Masters in International Affairs/International Development from American University in Washington, DC. |
