Fast Pitch Competition Summary FastPitch Business Case Competition The CACI 2007 FastPitch Business Case Competition provides early stage clean technology companies a platform to present their case to a panel of venture capitalists Judges and wide array of conference attendees. All day-of participants will receive valuable, interactive feedback and potential investment from industry leaders and professional investors. Participants Early stage clean technology businesses of all types, sizes, legal structures, business models and track records should enter. Companies will be judged as "entrepreneurial ventures," whether for-profit or not, high-tech or not. We strongly encourage "Student Involved" or "Student Friendly" (terms defined in the Format section) companies to participate, yet this is not a requirement. Early stage ventures range from pre-seed to series A venture-backed. Although the day’s event focuses primarily on clean energy & transportation, the FastPitch welcomes all types of clean technology (energy, transportation, water, materials, enabling, efficiency, nanotechnology, air quality, environmental IT, materials recovery & recycling etc.) Process Each team should email j.stephen.pollock.2008@anderson.ucla.edu ASAP to indicate desire to participate. The top 10 presenting companies will receive 2 free registration passes. Each team must submit an electronic version (.doc or .pdf) of their Executive Summary (no longer than 2 pages) to the CACI 2007 Fast Pitch team no later than April 30th. The Fast Pitch team will select the top 10 candidates to present in the Fast Pitch - First Round. Notifications will be sent by May 3rd. 3 Finalists will move on to the Fast Pitch - Finals. One Grand Prize winner will be selected by the Panel of Judges with input from the audience.Format
